At WCMC, we use lab-certified urine tests that are 99% accurate and can detect the hCG pregnancy hormone within 10 days after conception. For positive test results, we provide education and resources based on a woman’s needs and plans. We also provide a Pregnancy Verification form to submit for insurance benefits.

We believe a woman should be fully informed on all her pregnancy options. It’s why we offer accurate information on abortion, adoption and parenting. At WCMC, she can find support and talk through her options in a safe, confidential, judgment-free environment so she make a decision that is best for her and her baby.

Limited Ultrasound

Obstetrical ultrasound is a valuable tool to confirm a pregnancy. Our medical staff provides limited ultrasound to determine how far along a woman is in her pregnancy, if a fetal heartbeat is detected and if the pregnancy is in the uterus. This information is important before a woman makes a decision about her pregnancy. A picture is worth a thousand words. Over 97% of our clients who see their baby on an ultrasound screen choose life for their child.

STD Testing

1 in 2 sexually active young people will contract an STD by the age of 25. The Center for Disease Control recommends all sexually active persons be tested for STDs every 3 months. We keep a check on our client’s sexual health status by providing free STD testing. For positive tests, we provide referrals for medical care.

Man-To-Man Program

The role of a father is vitally important in a child’s life. For this reason, we offer a Builders Program, a course on fatherhood designed to teach life skills on how to build a solid foundation for a family. Upon completion of the program, our men receive their very own toolbox complete with a brand new set of tools. If you are interested in providing a set of tools for one of our Builder graduates, these are the tools we provide in each toolbox. Each tool is significant to a lesson in the program.
